Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Make It Purr is sold and operated by Andrei Tița, an individual based in Romania. This policy describes what we collect when you buy or use the app — and what we don't.
What we collect
When you buy Make It Purr, checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your email address, your card or wallet payment details, and the country your card was issued in. Stripe shares the email address and country with us so we can send you the download link. We never see or store your card details.
We use that email address only to send you (i) the one-time download link after purchase, (ii) future download links if you request one via the /redownload page or the in-app update banner, and (iii) replies if you email us for support.
Our web infrastructure (Cloudflare) records incoming IP addresses transiently for abuse prevention. We do not store this information ourselves.
What the app collects: nothing
The Make It Purr Android app does not collect any data from you or your device. It has no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads. The only outbound network request the app makes is a periodic check for new app versions, which sends nothing about you — just a request asking "what's the latest version?"
Cookies and trackers on this site
This site does not set tracking cookies or use third-party analytics that profile you. If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics in the future, it is privacy-respecting by design — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no personal data sent to advertisers.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Stripe (Ireland / United States) — handles payments and retains customer records as required by their own terms and applicable financial regulations.
- Resend (United States) — delivers the download-link email and logs message metadata for deliverability reporting.
- Cloudflare (global) — hosts the website, runs the server-side function that generates time-limited download links, and stores the APK file.
Each of these has its own privacy policy and data processing agreement. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards as provided in each processor's terms.
How long we keep your data
Stripe retains purchase records as long as legally required (typically around 7 years for tax purposes). Resend retains delivery logs per their own retention policy. Cloudflare Worker logs are retained for at most a few days for debugging. We do not maintain a separate customer database of our own.
Your rights
Under EU GDPR and equivalent laws elsewhere, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information about you we hold,
- correct any inaccurate information,
- delete the information (subject to legal retention obligations such as Stripe's tax records),
- provide it in a portable format,
- or stop processing it where consent is the legal basis.
Email solodevop@yahoo.com with the email address you used at checkout and describe what you'd like done. We'll reply within 30 days, usually much faster. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Make It Purr is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in plain language.
